Individual counseling provides a supportive space to reflect, process, and grow. I often work with individuals who want to build self-esteem, heal from family-of-origin trauma, and recognize and shift relationship patterns that no longer serve them.
Together, we’ll explore the experiences that have shaped you, identify what’s keeping you feeling stuck, and find a path forward toward the life you want and deserve. I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

Couples therapy can help you build a stronger, more connected relationship. Relationships are deeply rewarding, but they can also be complex and challenging. Lasting love takes effort, communication, and commitment from both partners.
Whether you're looking to improve communication, manage conflict more effectively, or deepen emotional and physical intimacy, couples counseling offers a supportive space to grow together.
I use Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy to guide my work with couples. This evidence-based approach helps partners strengthen friendship, resolve conflict, and build a lasting foundation of trust and connection. You can learn more about the Gottman Method here.

Congratulations on your engagement! In my opinion, premarital counseling is one of the most important—if not the most important—parts of preparing for your wedding and future marriage. Research shows that couples who complete premarital counseling are up to 30% less likely to separate or divorce.
Premarital counseling helps strengthen the foundation of your relationship and equips you with the tools for a healthy, connected, and lasting marriage. Unlike therapy that only focuses on problems, this process is structured, proactive, and even enjoyable. Over the course of approximately 12 sessions, we’ll cover key relationship topics such as:
Conflict management
Communication skills
Finances and money values
Intimacy and expectations
Family dynamics and boundaries
Parenting styles and future planning
This work is about setting your relationship up for success—creating shared understanding, building emotional safety, and having meaningful conversations that will serve you well for years to come.

Areas of Specialty
-
Family of Origin Trauma
Our early relationships shape how we see ourselves and connect with others. When those experiences involve neglect, parentification, or unmet emotional needs, they can leave lasting wounds that show up as low self-esteem, relationship struggles, or chronic guilt and shame.
I take a trauma-informed, attachment-based approach to help you explore these patterns and heal at the root. Using tools from CBT and Attachment-Based Therapy, we’ll work together to rewrite old narratives and move toward greater self-worth and connection.
-
Anxiety
While anxiety can show up in many areas of life, I specialize in working with individuals who experience anxiety in relationships. This often looks like overthinking, people-pleasing, fear of rejection, or feeling unable to show up as your authentic self.
Together, we’ll explore the root causes of your anxiety—whether it's tied to attachment wounds, past experiences, or limiting beliefs—and learn how to shift the patterns that are keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you replace anxiety-driven thoughts with those that support confidence, emotional safety, and secure connection.

Relationships
It can feel painful and isolating to struggle with relationship issues, especially when there's a lack of connection, emotional safety, or mutual understanding. Whether you’re having difficulty setting boundaries, feeling unable to be your full self with loved ones, or wanting to break old relational patterns, therapy can help.
I work with clients to build healthier, more fulfilling relationships—rooted in authenticity, self-worth, and emotional connection. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way and help you create the types of connections you truly deserve.
-
Perfectionism
The drive for perfection creates pressure, stress, and dissatisfaction, often showing up in areas where we seek achievement, approval, and control, like our careers, relationships, and personal goals. Perfectionism can lead to fear of failure, procrastination, and difficulty accepting mistakes.
In therapy, we won’t aim to eliminate perfectionism, but rather understand when it’s a strength and when it limits your growth. Together, we’ll embrace your humanity, let go of unrealistic expectations, and find a healthier approach to reaching your goals.

While adulting can be tough, it’s also an opportunity to take control of your life, build self-confidence, and feel empowered to thrive. I’m here to support you through career transitions, relationship challenges, and help guide you toward becoming the best version of yourself during this important life stage.

Latinx Experience
As a proud Latina, I deeply understand the beauty and complexity of navigating Hispanic culture. I help Latinx clients find a balance between embracing cultural ideals that align with their true selves while rejecting outdated beliefs passed down through generations.
I support clients in setting healthy boundaries with family, reducing the stigma around seeking therapy in Latinx communities, and staying connected to cultural traditions and values. Whether you’re navigating generational trauma or working to maintain your identity in a multicultural world, I’m here to guide you toward healing and empowerment.
